Now, Keen Games has announced that a new update is just around the corner, and it’s set to be the biggest one yet. This update will introduce a new biome, a dynamic weather system, and enhanced verticality in the mountain region that will offer fresh survival challenges.

The new full biome will expand the Enshrouded world to the north and will take players into the mountains, bringing an abundance of fresh content to the game. The biome will feature new quests, a variety of enemies, and wildlife. The mountainous areas will focus on vertical gameplay, requiring you to climb steep terrain, which adds new survival experiences.

A highly anticipated dynamic weather system will also be introduced in the game. I hope that the weather will be added not just for visual reasons but will also have an actual effect on characters and make survival more in-depth.

In addition, the update will include new weapons, armor, and crafting materials essential for survival in this new environment. Furthermore, the update will allow you to craft additional types of furniture for your base.

To make bases more lively, Keen Games has enhanced NPC interactions, allowing them to move around the base. Farm animals and pets will also be added to create a lively and bustling atmosphere.

The update will also raise the level cap by 10 levels and introduce the ability to gain more skill points, as these features have been highly requested by the community.
